NYS-CRR 30-3.10(b) The training course shall provide training on:
4. application and use of the State approved teacher or principal rubric(s) selected by the district for use in evaluations, including training on the effective application of such rubrics to observe a teacher or principal's practice.
Doing the video practice observation was an eye opening experience. I realized how easy it is to miss important details. I came away from the epxerience believing that it is important to focus in on one or two teaching standards when doing an observation if your goal is to improve instruction.
